Raffael Kern is, so to speak, the voice to igevia. Whether on the phone from the office or anywhere across Austria. He is here to answer questions from interested parties and takes care of our customers’ concerns.

What do you do at igevia?

First and foremost, I get in touch with people interested in igevia.I explain our product to doctors, pharmacies and dieticians, discuss the practical integration of igevia into their daily practice and point out how it can help their patients to archieve a better quality of life. This contact can be done by telephone or in person, and I am, so to speak, „at the forefront“ and, for many future igevia partners, the first face (or voice) they get to know from our team. In the case of doctors and dieticians, I also coordinate appointments for our Medical Advisor, Nora Zulehner, PhD.

Additionally I support Nora when taking care of matters from our private customers who call us or contact us by e-mail and have questions about igevia.

What does your typical working day look like?

In my day-to-day work is a mix of “office days” and “field work days”. On office days I call doctors, pharmacists and dieticians, so I can reach many potential customers or cooperation partners in a relatively short time. I particularly enjoy field work days because I visit pharmacies, provide them with information material and igevia-Boxes and come into personal contact with our partners. At the same time, I have the opportunity to exchange my office workstation for the beautiful Austrian landscapes 😉 Of course, careful preparation and follow-ups are also part of the field work days.

What is the most exciting part about your job?

When igevia was founded we started from scratche in many areas, which allowed me to learn and help shape an incredible amount of things. This also includes dealing with new questions or topics that may work differently than you originally imagined.

I also find the direct interaction with private customers who turn to us with a question particularly exciting. The knowledge of having helped someone and the gratitude that comes with it are very motivating!

What is the biggest challenge?

When you work for such a young company that is currently building its profile, you need skill and perseverance to make your voice heard. If I have been able to gain the attention of a customer, it doesn’t need much persuasion, because igevia is fast, uncomplicated process and comprehensive results report speak for themselves.
