Following the laboratory analysis of your oral mucosa smear, you will receive your Results-Report.
The results provide information about which of the six defined metabolic types you belong to based on your genetic predisposition.
Depending on your metabolic type you will receive
A diet high in carbohydrates is recommended for the C-Type, as these are particularly well metabolized. Weight reduction is achieved primarily through a carbohydrate-oriented change in diet.
The P-Type is characterised by a good metabolism of protein-rich food. The daily calorie intake should be high in protein. As the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats is less pronounced in this metabolic type, they should be reduced in order to achieve your personal feel-good weight.
The C-L-Type metabolises fats and carbohydrates better than proteins. The daily food intake should therefore be high in carbohydrates and fats. Proteins are metabolised moderately well.
In the P-L-Type, proteins and fats in particular are well metabolised. The daily calorie intake should therefore have a particularly high protein and fat content. Carbohydrate-rich food, on the other hand, is not metabolized as well in this type.
The C-P-Type metabolises carbohydrates and proteins particularly well. These should make up a high proportion of the daily calorie intake. A sustainable weight reduction is achieved above all through a consistent fat-reduced diet. Please note, however, not to do without fat completely, as these nutrients are an important supplier of energy and building blocks for your body.
In the C-P-L-Type High, the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats is equally good. The daily calorie intake should be high in carbohydrates, proteins and fats. The weight can be maintained by a balanced diet of all macromolecules (carbohydrates, proteins, fats) or reduced by a calorie reduction of the daily diet.
The C-P-L-Type Low is a mixed type that makes less use of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. You will achieve your feel-good weight mainly through physical activity and a strict calorie reduction in your daily diet. Your diet should consist of moderate amounts of carbohydrates, proteins and fats.
The Results-Report clearly breaks down your laboratory results and also provides valuable additional information and recommendations for action.
The Metabolic Test uses DNA analysis to show you how you use carbohydrates, fats and proteins.
